letter from elder david

Dear family,
sorry for not emailing last week we had a very hectic day. we started off going to mcminville to the air museum and then my comp got invited to the basketball game with the best missionaries in the mission. the AP's and travelling AP's are both really good at b-ball and they challenged a missionary to get together his team anyone and they would still take them, my comp made the cut. We got back and made it to the library in time but the library was closed. So we didnt go. Anyway, I am behind in my letters I heard about Henry Cejudo and I think that is nuts, how many people can say they lost in state finals thier senior year to an olympic gold medalist? Here is what I emailed my president I love you all, and I am doing great.

Dear President Dyches,
well the work in jan ree ward is doing really well. we just had a baptism on saturday for an older couple bruce and margareete little. the baptism was awesome, margareete cannot walk so we baptized her in a wheelchair. We picked up the wheelchair and walked it down into the water. She cant go long periods of time with her feet down either she has to keep them raised. so it is a good thing that we had a van because we took her recliner to church and raised her feet during sacrament. i have never met more devoted people than the littles they truly are an inspiration to all that meet them. As you know I was transfered this week and i really loved serving with elder henriod, i have learned so much from him.
elder mellor my new comp seems way awesome. he is ready to work and we are now serving in a great area in hillsboro. there is so much to do and we have a baptism this next week so we already have work to do in our wards here. what is really nice is that this area needs new people to work with, i guess having zone leaders in the area for the past years that they have been here has helped the teaching aspect but the finding has fallen, zone leaders dont have time to find. but elder mellor and i do! we are going to get some new baptisms here because we have time to search all the holes in the rocks. i am so excited to train again to finish my mission off strong and i am really lucky to have such a good comp. my first two comps were the best of the bunch and i got another one to finish off with.
