He is Aunt Faye's son.
This is how my first meeting with him went:
Gma"Warren Joe, this is Eddie and his wife Tecia"
(shake hands)
me "It's nice to meet you?"
Joe "What's nice about it?" (no smile)
me (blank look)- "I don't know, nothing yet."
Well how was I supposed to respond!!!
Joe "whose your man?"
Me(pointing to Eddie)- "that guy over there."
Joe "poor guy."
Another conversation
"how are you?"
Joe-"why do you want to know?"
Lydia (with my prompting)"How old are you?"
Joe "Old enough!"
If any of you who read this remember anything else Joe said, please write it in the comments.
This guy was a riot!! Easy and delightful to be around believe it or not. You kinda had to meet him to really appreciate him. I'm so glad we had this little meeting. They went back to Colorado, but they do have a house in Cave Creek. So hopefully we will see him again. Eddie remembers him speaking at Aunt Faye's funeral and was impressed by his doctrinal based talked. Part of why I love Joe so much I think after just spending a couple hours with him and his family, is they remind me of my Dad. Their mannerisms, well Joe's, (the women were angels), how he wore his hat, his suspenders, the way he would look sometimes after you said something. What darlings they all were. And what a blessing to meet them.
WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
